Thankfulness in the Martial Arts

quest Thankfulness in the Martial Arts

When studying karate or any other martial art, it becomes easy to get caught up and forget to be appreciative of the privilege of training in the martial arts.  You want to be thankful of your teachers and all the generations that came before them, thankful of your health and your ability to physically perform.  Martial arts gives strength, confidence, focus and happiness!  There is much to be thankful for!

Most people practicing martial arts today are not doing so solely to protect themselves as in the past but are also able to enjoy the practice for its health benefits, fun, making friends and for personal development.  The lessons learned in martial arts such as self-confidence and discipline will stay with a student his whole life and infiltrate all aspects of daily living.  Martial arts will teach you to believe in yourself more than any other activity because it is both a physical and a spiritual journey.

The Budokai Family is truly a “martial arts family” – we support and encourage each other every step of the way.  All students are invited to join us for the Annual Thanksgiving Day Workout:  Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 10:00AM.
