On February 24,2018 over 80 individuals met to compete at the USBA/WBA Massachusetts State Breaking Grand Championships. Team Budokai was represented by Arika Struzinsky and Haley Miller.
Congratultions to Haley Miller who was awarded first place in power hand, elbow, and foot. Haley was the only junior black belt at the tournament and competed up against the teen girls in creative breaking tying for 3rd! A job well done for her first time competing in the power events!
Its been a tremendous season for Arika Struzinsky who got first in power foot and elbow, second in power hand and creative breaking earning her Jr Grand Champion at the Mass State event. This follows her hugely successful 2016-17 season where she was awarded the Northeast Regional Jr Female Competitor of the Year!!
